So we finally got our backyard landscaped plans back from the designer. Now we need to figure out where to get the sprinkler plans so we can start planning the big dig. We have drainage problems in our backyard where we have a nice river running thru pretty much all summer so the kids are unable to play in back. It was recommended to us to make a dry river bed in front of the rock wall and over by the driveway side where the water is flowing in. Then taking it under the garden area with a pipe and out through the rock wall next to the side walk. So this is obviously going to add time to our deadline of July 1. I looked online and found the directions of how to make this river bed and it says it takes 4 hours per 10 ft section. So you can only imagine how long this is going to take. Jon is thinking he has 80-100 ft to do. And the fun begins!!! Can't wait until after July 1st so our life will be back. We had a quote of what it would cost to have the landscape company complete our project for us...hopefully by us doing it ourselves we won't even remotely come close to having to come up with that much. Already got one quote to have sprinkler plans done for us.
