Kylee took 3 online classes this summer at Utah Online.  Government and Citizenship, Ukelele, and a Water Color Paint class.

Happy Birthday Jon

Jon usually likes to go camping for his birthday but we were unable to do that this year.  So he took the day off and wanted to go fishing.  We headed up to the Uintah's...his spot.  We did stop at a few places on the way to our fishing.

Love seeing the windmill farm.

Venturing to Piedmont Kilns.

The kilns were huge and pretty interesting to look at and

 read how they filled it up and used it.

Not far from there down the road we found some abandoned buildings from the town that worked the kilns.  Fun to imagine what the town would have looked like.  There were some buildings that all you could find were the foundations.

Cool rainbow in the sky.  There was also a wind blowing so the grasses out in the fields behind the building in the background were flowing.  Looked really cool to see the sway in the grasses.

Went through a scenic canyon called Sheep Creek Canyon geological area.  Very pretty seeing the different geological features.

Fishing at Sheep Creek Lake 

No one caught any fish. There were so many big flies everywhere.

Warming up my chicken noodle soup for lunch.

Drove to the next reservoir called Long Park Reservoir.  Both were very pretty.  Lots of big flies again.  

And no luck with the fishing area.
