Kylee's Graduation Day

Today is the day. She is done with High School officially.  She finished in December but is walked today.  Porter and Hannah Shelly were there too.  My parents we unable to make it because they had to go out of town.  So it was a small gathering.  Very proud of her!!

Sterling and Steven Smith were able to surprise us and show up for the graduation. They were a little late so they didn't hear her name but they were there (they came from camping at Nephi).

After we went to dinner at Teppanyaki's.  It was a LONG wait, but it was yummy.  We bought a lei on our way to the car and gave it to Kylee when we got to the restaurant.

Alpine District had a walking contest the last 5 weeks.  My team "Red Hot Chili Peppers" won.  We won at the district level and at our school level.

School Prize: I chose snacks.  My first win at school was coloring pens and a coloring book.

District Prize:  Water Bottle

More Northern Lights

We decided last minute to try to go to Bear Lake tonight to see if we could see them better.  So we booked a hotel room and when Brittany got off work we headed north.

Unfortunately we weren't able to see them well.  Last night was much better viewing.  But hey, we spent the night away :)

Northern Lights

We drove out the back way to Tooele and pulled off the side of the road to see if we could see the Northern Lights.  We were successful, yay!!

I posted a couple pictures that we took for Kylee.  She was frustrated that she couldn't see them.  I told her it was only seen through the camera.  She was finally able to get some good pics.

Heather and her family went to Bear Lake to get pics.  They got some really good ones. 

I think they were close enough they could see them with their eyes too.   Looking at the sky around us, we could see them a little to but I think only because we were looking for them.  The sky just looked a little weird and maybe a little pinkish.
