7 Years Bad Luck!!!!

We ran some errands today and when we walked into the house we found a mess in our bathroom.  Fortunately no one was in there when it happened.  Someone could have been hurt.  Can you also imagine how loud it would have been, especially in the middle of the night.

Kylee was kind of frantic, she and Brittany walked in first so Kylee thought we had a burglar in the house.  Poor girl.  Well I guess it is time to get a new mirror.  Not exactly what I was planning on purchasing...but you know.  

Hopefully the 7 years of bad luck is really just a myth huh.

Neighbor 4th of July

4th of July

So tonight we were invited over to the neighbors (Jeppson's house) for pizza and fireworks.  There were not tons of families but it was enough to not seem crowded.

We all brought toppings to share and then Randall Jeppson barbequed pizzas for us.  We also had homemade rootbeer.  Yummy!!  For dessert we had berry pie, apple pie, and brownies.  

Then when it got darker we started fireworks.  Our last one that Jon lit exploded a little to close to the ground and sprayed everyone on the last burst.  Made for a little excitement.

4th of July Celebration

We headed over to Shelley and James' house this year for our 4th of July celebration on July 3rd.  

We had pizza, fruit, vegetables, brownies, drinks, swimming, bocce ball, trampoline jumping, car driving, sparkler and snap fun, and last but not least FIREWORKS!!

It was fun visiting with eveyone.  We missed grandma and grandpa (who were on a vacation) and Darren and Jenny and family.

Boy was it HOT today. Poor Jon and Jim had to stand by the grills cooking everyones food in this heat.  This year at least they brought the grills out back and put them in the shade.  

Lots of people and lots of food and lots of visiting.  What more can you want.
