Fall Break Day 1 - Corn Bellys

For our first activity of Fall Break we went to Corn Bellys with Baldwins.  We had a fun morning and saw lots of different displays.  The kids all tried pulling the tractors, Jason tried helping.  Went through the corn maze, a big slide, a monster thing, etc.  

The weather was perfect. 

Young Women In Excellence

Our Young Women in Excellence.  We had a "Premier Theme" where we had the girls walk down a red carpet to receive their trophies "Young Women of Excellence 2016".  We watched a video spotlighting each girl and their project or goal they completed this year. 

Young Women Project

For our Young Women In Excellence the girls had to pick a goal or project they wanted to spotlight and display. Brittany picked ironing, washing, folding clothes for hers.  She completed her project on this and got to be a pro at ironing Jon's clothes and doing the laundry for me.  

Bread Making

We learned how to make bread during a Young Women activity. Today Brittany was able to try it out by herself to see how it went.  She did a great job. They were delicious.  She made bread and sweet rolls.  Yummy!!! 

Rhode Island

In class Kylee had to do a report on a state and she got Rhode Island.  They had to make a display of their state.  She was so excited to take it to school.  Good job Kylee!!

Fall Drive

September 17, 2016

Went up the canyon to take pictures.  Hoping to get something for a Christmas card.  Guess we will see if it works.  The girls didn't really cooperate very well.
