Part 2
Fremont Indian State Park
We headed to the Fremont State Park after Cove Fort. We spent a while inside looking at the exhibits, watched a movie, and of course bought souvenirs for Jon and the kids. Then we picked a trail and started the tour.
It is cool to see the different petroglyphs along the walls and is sad to see that people have defaced some of them. We picked one of the shorter walks so when it T'd off we decided to go along that one. Well Brittany decided to go ahead and would stop at the next T when the other kids told her it was the other way. So I had to go after her to find her. Well on that trail I came to another T so I picked one and hoped for the best. Apparently that is the one she picked as well because she had already met up with the rest of the group (so Jason came up after me to let me know). I guess Brittany didn't fare to well and had an asthma attack on her hike. Jon said she couldn't breath well and was having a hard time so he gave her some albuterol and water by the time I got back to the cars. When I saw her she had a really red face and was very mellow.

Jon, Kylee, and I went into the Indian pit house. Really small and short so Jon and I couldn't stand up. But pretty interesting. I kind of wonder how warm it was in the winter and how cool in the summer. Not sure if Brittany went in or not, she didn't with us.

| Brittany was pulling faces at me. Kylee and the boys (Sterling and Nikolas) were sitting on the grainery. |
Before we headed home we decided to try to go to the Silver King Mine. The lady at the shop told us the roads might be covered in snow so we wouldn't be able to get to it. Sure enough it was. As we were getting ready to head back down the road Jon noticed Rob's tire looked really low (he already had to fill it before we headed to go to Fremont Indian State Park). Yup there was only 20 lbs in the tire so he had to hurry and change his flat. There was a gash in the tire he assumed he must have ran over something on the way from their house that morning to meet us. We always have something go wrong in our travels. At least this one wasn't too major.
We got back to camp around 9:00 and still needed to have dinner. So the Smith's roasted hot dogs. Baldwins and us grilled our hamburgers. I think the Smith's finally headed home a little after 11:00. Late night for all.
We have been having problems with our trailer battery holding a charge so it goes really low after turning the generator off so we ran our generator again tonight probably till about 11:00. Might have to get a new battery. We are not running the heater during the evening in hopes to keep the battery charged enough for the fridge.
