Brittany turns "7"

Happy b-day Brittany. You are so excited to be baptized but I hope you enjoy your 7th birthday.

This year she wanted a Zhu Zhu Pet b-day cake, but I couldn't find one at the store. So I improvised and just made colorful circles and put a baby Zhu Zhu Pet on her cake instead. She really really really wanted a candle that had a #7 on it. I guess that makes it easier to blow out the candles.

From us she got some baby Zhu Zhu Pets. She wants the battle ones too so they can be a family. We'll have to get those later.

From mom and dad she got some of those Nano Hex Bugs and a track for them to go on. She was way excited about those and plays with them quite frequently. She wants one of the big ones too so at Walmart yesterday she found one hidden behind some other toys. But we couldn't just get it for her. Apparently Walmart isn't going to carry them anymore. Hopefully another store or Amazon continues. (Not sure why she has such a scowl on her face. Must not have wanted the picture taken.)

Kylee's Birthday (a little late)

So I forgot to blog Kylees b-day. It was Nov. 23 and she is now 5 years old. She makes sure she tells us how old she is and how old she will be next year. She wanted another Spongebob cake this year. But due to Thanksgiving plans I just didn't have time to make one. So we gave Walmart the opportunity this year.

This year she got from us a blowdryer set with accessories. From mom and dad she got a Cinderella princess doll and a bunch of tea party food and plates, etc. Both she and Brittany love playing with the food and plates.

Just a couple things for my house

Finally able to hang the silhouettes that Heather made for me. I still need to determine which paint color I would like for upstairs...any suggestions? I want neutral. That will also determine which color of vinyl I want to use for a possible plaque I want to hang (when I get the frames for the stair pictures).

Also put the new pillows on my brown couch in the family room. Now I just need to have curtains and something on the walls.
