Easter Dresses

 Here are the girls Easter Dresses for this year.  I didn't realize at the time we were looking that they were similar colors.  They both like them!

They didn't get to actually wear them on Easter because we had General Conference, so they had to painstakingly wait for this Sunday.

Palate Spreader

Well today is the day we start the appliance part of the braces.  She has already had her spacers in for a little while.  Today she gets her palate spreader.  Sounds painful to me.  She is kind of excited to start this process (maybe so she can get it over with I am not sure).

This is the before the spreader was installed.

Doesn't the palate spreader look like so much fun?  I have to stick a little key into a tiny hole and turn it one turn each day for 18 days.  Woo hoo so exciting and painful sounding.

Hair day

Well today we tried new things with hair.  Some of it was more pathetic than others.  But live and learn huh.  

Kylee's was an attempt to curl the hair using a flat iron.

 Well my attempt with Brittany's hair did not work out at all like I had hoped.  I tried doing the cornrow braids on her hair.  I definitely need tons more practice.  I couldn't seem to get it to work up next to her scalp so it stayed frizzy.  And it took me forever to get done what I did.  It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

I have decided that I need to figure out something for Brittany so she isn't always just doing pony tails in her hair.  I have seen some really cute hairstyles for her hair type.  I just need those people to come in and show me how to do it.

It is not supposed to look this messy.  Need more practice.

When it dried and I took the braids out. It made her hair hang down to almost her real length and the curls were pretty distinct.  We just need to work on it more.  Maybe this summer.

Easter Festivities

Easter Egg decorating time.  I was gone this evening, so Jon took care of the festivities.  Kylee admitted that they forgot to take pictures during the decorating, so they hurried and took a couple when they were finished.

Selling the Lexus

Jon is very sad to put the Lexus on KSL.  But he has determined that we can't buy a truck to pull our new trailer, unless he sells the Lexus.  We will all miss the Lexus.

New Avalanche

I took the girls to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point today.  As we were walking past the animals this peacock opened its feathers. It looked really cool.

Tried a Pintrest soup today.  It is a Tortellini soup.  The kids loved it so it is a do again sometime.  Both Jon and I liked it as well.

 Since we bought a new travel trailer. We need to sell our Pop Up Trailer.  We are very sad to see it go, it has been a great trailer.  And we have a lot of memories with this trailer, but it was time to upgrade to a new self contained trailer.  These are the pictures we posted on KSL.
