Laundromat Time

Our washer broke so this week we decided to go to the laundromat. One good thing about going is that you can use as many washing machines as you want to they can get all done at once. I didn't like the cost though. Jon met Brittany and I over there to help us out. Hopefully we can get a new machine soon!
The Healing Fields

We have never been to the Healing Fields so after leaving Jon's mom's house we headed over. It was amazing to see so many flags and realize what they represent.
Grandma Bowers Drive By Birthday

The family didn't want to have a huge gathering for Jon's mom's birthday so they decided on a drive by birthday. We drove by but then obviously stopped to visit. She had quite a few drive by people. I think she enjoyed the attention and visits.
Rocks

Today Kylee and Brittany helped Jon spread the gravel/rocks we had delivered. I had to go somewhere today so I ended up not being able to help. They did a great job!
Moon Lake for Labor Day

We decided to take a drive up to Moon Lake for the day and play around in our canoes. We didn't realize the fire that was going on their was going to affect our afternoon. We got there later than we had planned which meant we didn't have much time to play around on the lake before the winds started kicking up. We probably got about 1/2 hour is all. At first the smoke wasn't too bad but when the wind kicked up the smoke came in and smoked us out for the day. For the rest of the day while we were driving around that was all we could see.
We ran into a bunch of sheep crossing the road on our way up.

School Starts

Today we started back to school. Our district is going everyday just 1 hr short daily. We do have to wear masks though.
Brittany is at Westlake High and she is a Junior.
Driving Lessons

We have been taking the girls driving each Sunday. Jon will take one and I will take the other. I forgot to get a picture of Kylee but will another day. They are doing pretty good. Brittany needs to relax a big and get more comfortable driving.
Working on the shed again

Today we were trying to lay the cinderblocks around the perimeter. Jon had to make the corners square. We originally wanted a shed that was 12 x 14 but ended up with 12 x 12. The corners seemed to take a long time today.
Starting our Shed

Today was the day we finally started our shed. We have a long way to go but finally began. Kylee was a big helper with all the work today.
